hmm, quite creative shooting flowers especially dandelions are a very rare motive (cynical!)

But I always wanted to have a picture with blackstripes on the top and bottom.

I really LOVE the picture. Almost everything is perfect:
    perfect composition
    perfect background
    perfect DoF

So why “almost”? To be honest I hate the caption in the picture!
Anyway – great shot! Nothing to be cynical!

Which lens were you using? The 18-105 on max aperture? Or the 80-200?

funny I thought the title fits the image
but thanks for the nice comments

I used a 105 prime lens (my latest acquisition)
and i think especially the right flower would look
better if it was more in focus

Geez! I’m DYING for a 85mm or 105mm prime lens with a large aperture!!!!

For me the shallow depth is exactly what makes the picture outstanding. It gives the (old and dead) dandelion a dreamy touch.

There’s nothing wrong with the title: but you shouldn’t print it inside the picture. For me the text distracts from the image.
