After messing around with the film-noir/Max Payne theme lately I decided to try something in the style of “Sin City” this time.

This time it was a little more complex to light the scene properly. I wanted to get hard lights and harsh shadows, that’s why I didn’t use anything to soften the strobes.
I don’t own any striplight boxes, so I had to put 2 speedlights slightly behind the subject in order to avoid lightning up the face too much.
Another speedlight helped to light the fists and the right shoulder. Finally a last speedlight was used as fill light on small power.
